Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, engine running, verify the scan tool Battery Voltage parameter is between 12.5-15.5 V.
  2. If not within the specified range, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM TEST .
  3. Command the All Indicators test ON and OFF with the scan tool, verify that the charge indicator turns ON and OFF.
  4. If the charge indicator always stays on or always off, replace the P16 Instrument Cluster.
