Circuit/System Testing

With the ignition OFF, disconnect the antenna coaxial cable from the mobile telephone antenna T4G.
With the ignition ON, test whether there is less than 1 V between the center pin of the antenna coaxial cable and ground.
If the value is above the specified voltage limit, replace the coaxial cable.
With the ignition ON, test whether there is less than 1 V between the antenna coaxial cable outer shield and ground.
If the value is above the specified voltage limit, replace the coaxial cable.
Test for infinite resistance between the coaxial center terminal of the antenna and ground.
If the value is less than the specified value, replace the coaxial cable.
Test for infinite resistance between the antenna coaxial cable outer shield and ground.
If the value is less than the specified value, replace the coaxial cable.
Test that resistance is less than 5 Ω at the center conductor for the mobile telephone antenna from end to end.
If the value is above the specified value, replace the antenna coaxial cable.
Test that resistance is less than 5 Ω at the coaxial cable outer shield for the mobile telephone antenna from end to end.
If the value is above the specified value, replace the antenna coaxial cable.
Test for infinite resistance between the antenna coaxial cable center conductor and the outer shield.
If the value is less than the specified value, replace the antenna coaxial cable.
If the coaxial cable tests normal, replace the mobile telephone antenna T4G.
