(TA365-1109) SPS procedure for BCM upgrade (9-5 M10-): Background

During the BCM Configuration process, an issue will arise where the above screen is displayed and appears to be 'frozen' (this will only happen during the configuration of systems; not during reprogramming and it may happen a number of times).

When this occurs wait for approximately 1 min, then double click in the area shown, this should then bring up a hidden configuration menu allowing you to continue with the correct procedure.

NOTE: if you are unsure that the correct configuration of for example the brake pedal potentiometer or SDM has taken place either repeat the process or contact your Area Technical manager for support. Warning-Failure to carry out the correct Configuration/setup of a BCM or any other ECM will result in the incorrect operation of that ECM.
