"No Remote Detected" message - no start: Conditions
When the Start/Stop button is pressed for start, a scanning for the remote key will take place. The antenna between the front seats will search for the remote key twice with current implementation. If no contact, the message "No Remote Detected" will appear in Driver Information Center (DIC):
No detection can be caused by a number of reasons for example antenna blind spots or disturbance from handheld consumer devices such as mobile phones with large displays, battery chargers etc.
