To fit

  1. Place the outer brake pad into the carrier.

    Fit the inner brake pad into the hydraulic body.

  2. Put in place the hydraulic body and fit the guide pins and protective covers.

    Tightening torque 28 Nm (21 lbf ft)

  3. Fit the brake hose with new seals.

    Tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 lbf ft) 

  4. Fit the retaining spring to the brake caliper. Lay the outer contact surfaces against the bracket and push the center of the clip.

  5. Remove the brake pedal clamp and refit FUSE 6, INSTRUMENT PANEL ELECTRICAL CENTRE 22 .
  6. Bleed the brake system .
  7. Fit the wheel.

    Tightening torque 110 Nm (81 lbf ft) 

  8. Lower the car.
  9. Depress the brake pedal repeatedly in order to press out the brake pistons.
  10. Check the brake fluid level and top up as necessary.
