PIN DESCRIPTION REFERENCE

Pin no.	Type of signal	Description
1	B+	Via an integrated BCM resistance of 1.5kΩ.
2	Ground

Sensor pin 1 is connected to BCM pin A 34. Sensor pin 2 is grounded in grounding point G 31 via crimp J12. When the brake fluid level is low, the float sinks, whereby the ring magnet actuates the reed element which in turn completes the circuit.

The control module input is digital; voltage above 2V is determined to be an open circuit and lower than 2V is determined to be closed.
