  1. (M/T) Remove the gearbox, see TO REMOVE  under Manual gearbox.

    (A/T) Remove the gearbox, see COMPLETE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION .

  2. Remove the clutch and pressure plate, see CLUTCH SYSTEM .
  3. Remove the flywheel or driven plate.
  4. Use a screwdriver to pry out the old seal, taking care not to damage the sealing surface.
