Service Message: General

The SID has a service indicator that displays the message "Time for service. Contact service." When the car needs servicing. When this message is shown is determined by the odometer (distance since last service) and a timer that counts the number of days since the last service.

The service interval is a programmable and is programmed during production according to the various markets. If necessary, the interval can be changed using the diagnostic tool.
