The car is prepared for the connection of a mobile phone with an 18-pin connector to which the phone is connected. The connector allows the audio system volume to be controlled (muted) and provides the phone with current (battery charging).

Cars as of model year 2001 and VIN 13047361 have an dummy antenna rather than an roofmounted antenna. The dummy antenna looks the same as the previous antenna but has no connections.
