Interior Lighting: Diagnosis

The output is provided with overload protection which shuts it off in the event of an excessive load. When this occurs, diagnostic trouble code B1215 will be generated.

DTCs are not generated if the voltage is below 11 V, or during diagnostic communication, or in case of interruption.

NOTE: Should a fault occur in the interior lighting, diagnostic trouble code B1220 may be generated (instead of the normal B1215), since the roof lighting (50F) is not electrically isolated from the reading and mirror lights.
