To fit

  1. Place the towbar cable connection in the bumper cavity.
  2. Place the bumper in position and press it over the edge of the wheel housing. Make sure that the clips sit correctly.

    For cars equipped with Saab Parking Assistance (SPA):  Attach the connector.

  3. Fit the nuts and bolts holding the bumper in place.
  4. Fit the screws in the edge of the wheel housing.

  5. Attach the towbar connector. Fit the bolts and cable tie holding the towbar on the body.

  6. Fit the new insulation pads.

  7. Fit the storage compartments and their covers.
  8. Fit the upper protective shell. See REPLACEMENT OF REAR UPPER PROTECTIVE SHELL 5D 
  9. Close the tailgate and check the fit of the bumper against the tailgate.
