Outer sill reinforcement: Removing

NOTE: If the front sill reinforcement is damaged, it can be replace separately by drilling out the spot-welds and removing it from the main sill reinforcement.
IMPORTANT: The sill reinforcement must never be joined at any point other than at the rear edge of the square hole nearest to the B pillar.
  1. Cut the sill reinforcement at the rear edge of the square hole in front of the B pillar.
  2. Drill out the spot-welds and tap loose the reinforcement.
