ESP indicator lamp: Notes

On the left-hand side of the main instrument unit (in the tachometer) is the ESP function lamp.

The lamp comes on when the system is in ESP modulation. If a fault should occur in the ESP system, the ESP OFF lamp will be turned on via the P-bus.

The function lamp is lit by the ESP control module sending information on the P-bus.

The lamp is turned on when ESP modulation is active after a slight delay (300 ms) and is then on as long as the system is active, but at least one second. When the ignition is turned on, the function lamp lights up for 3-5 seconds.
