  1. Fit a new seal using FITTING TOOL FOR CRANKSHAFT SEAL, TIMING CHAIN END  83 94 876.
  2. Fit the crankshaft pulley.

    Tightening torque 175 Nm (130 lbf ft)  .

  3. Remove the flywheel locking segment and fit the flywheel cover plate.

  4. Drive in the wedge to raise the engine.
  5. Fit the drive belt, check its position on all the pulleys and remove the strain-relieving hexagon key.

  6. Fit the right-hand engine mounting.

    Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 lbf ft)  .

  7. Remove the wedge and fit the power steering pump pipe.
  8. Fit the belt circuit cover and the wheel.

    Tightening torque: 110 Nm (80 lbf ft)  .

    IMPORTANT: The wheels must be hanging freely when the wheel bolts are tightened.
  9. Start the engine and run it at idling speed for a while.
  10. Switch off the engine and check that the belt is correctly positioned.
