Adjustment of Display Illumination, odometer
The SID calculates a suitable value for the display lighting using the rheostat value and the value for cabin light intensity from the light sensor. The SID transmits this calculated value on the bus as Display lighting level, unit %. The MIU adds an offset value to this, which can be adjusted with the diagnostic tool. As there is only one offset value, the display illumination cannot be turned completely on or off. Adjustment is in %.
