Trip computer: Notes
There are two trip computer variants, SID 1 and SID 2.
The trip computers SID 1 and SID 2 have the following functions in common:
- TEMP (outdoor temperature)
- DTE (distance on remaining fuel).
- FUEL (average fuel consumption)
- SPD (average speed)
The SID 2 trip computer has the following additional functions:
- DIST (distance to destination)
- ARRIV (arrival time)
- ALARM (time alarm)
- SPD W (speed warning)
The trip computer is controlled with the buttons under the display. To be able to perform the calculations required to present the information described above, the SID unit uses the following information:
- Time, "own" clock
- Vehicle speed, unit km/h (mph)
- Fuel level, unit liter (gallon)
- Odometer reading, unit km (miles).
- Fuel consumption since starting, unit ml
