1. Select function "TEMP".
2. Hold down the CLEAR and (Arrow down) buttons together for more than 1 second, "year" begins to flash.
3. Select the required year in steps down/up with the (Arrow down) or (Arrow up) buttons (scroll down/up).
4. Press "CLEAR", the year will be stored in the SID unit.
5. "Month" begins to flash. Select in the same way as point 3.
6. Press "CLEAR" as before to store the "month".
7. "Date" begins to flash. Select as before, point 3.
8. Press "CLEAR" as before to store the "date".

The year, month and date are stored when the CLEAR button is pressed, if the CLEAR and (Arrow down) buttons are pressed together or if the ignition is turned off.
