Alternative 2. Reading error at a certain level

Activate the fuel gauge and check that the gauge reading is correct at all the "breakpoints". Adjust the breakpoints if necessary. For factory-set breakpoints see ADJUSTING THE FUEL GAUGE .
Clear the diagnostic trouble codes in all systems.
- Perform a functional test
  Test OK?
  1. YES The steps taken to rectify the fault were correct.
  2. NO Go to ADJUSTING THE FUEL GAUGE/SENSOR .
