To remove

  1. Remove the upper engine cover.

  2. Detach the vacuum hoses from the vacuum pump.

  3. Unplug the connector to the temperature/pressure sensor.
  4. Undo the cable rail and move to one side.
  5. Remove the four vacuum pump retaining bolts and carefully lift away the vacuum pump with adapter. Have a rag or similar ready to wipe up any spilled oil.
