Insufficient Heating

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under instrument panel, below steering column. Start engine and allow to idle until thermostat opens. Monitor coolant temperature using a thermometer. Using scan tool, contact TRIONIC engine control module and read engine coolant temperature. Compare temperature values from scan tool and thermometer. Repair cooling system as necessary. If temperatures values are similar and reasonable, inspection is complete.
