In order to decrease the number of parts kept in stock, the same door trim has been used on the Saab 9-3 Coupe and Saab 9-3 Convertible. When fitting new door trim on the Saab 9-3 Convertible, the front upper corner of the trim must be cut as follows:

  1. Mark the cutting line.
  2. Position a support along the cutting line and cut away the corner. Use a hacksaw or a knife.
  3. Put in place the boot lid opening button.

  6. Refit the door pull cover.
