Front seats

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Saab 9-3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING: Never fit a child seat in front of a dashboard that is fitted with an SRS airbag.
NOTE: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully before fitting a child seat.

The front seats are fitted with mounting points for child seats if the car is not fitted with a passenger airbag.

Manually adjustable seats have mounting points at the front under the seat, with the rear mounting around the cross pipes of the seat. Electrically adjustable seats have a threaded mounting point at the front of each seat rail. The rear mounting for the child seat is indicated by a blue mark.

The mounting points are intended for child seats designed for mounting to the seat frame.
