Emergency operation when fitting seat

IMPORTANT: NB. The bevel gear must be fitted when the seat is in place but before the bolts are torque tightened.
  1. Dismantle the "tool".
  2. Apply grease to the gear wheel and fit the shaft into the gear housing, making sure the shaft lock is positioned correctly.

  3. Put the cover in place and tighten the screws. Make sure the spring is positioned correctly.
  4. Hold on to the seat shaft and press the gear in place.
  5. Screw the gear to the seat base.
  6. Fit the front bolt in the lower seat panel. Fit the lower seat panel.
    IMPORTANT: Electrically adjustable seat:  Fit the protection on the front bolt.
  7. Continue to fit  the seat.
