To remove

  1. Open the door (window must be raised).
  2. Remove the door trim, see DOOR TRIM, FRONT DOOR .
  3. Remove the plastic water barrier.

  4. Remove the pull rod between the door handle and the door lock from the lock.

  5. Remove the lower section of the rear guide channel.
  6. Remove the pull rod, between lock cylinder and lock, from the lock.
  7. Remove the 3 retainer bolts that secure the door lock.
  8. Remove the door lock with the internal lock assembly and central locking system motor.
  9. Unplug the connector for the central locking system motor.
  10. Remove the central locking system motor from the door lock, fastened with 2 screws.
