Hydraulic unit: Removing

  1. Raise (close) the soft top to a position with the soft top cover raised and the fifth bow lowered (horizontal).
  2. Fold forward the rear backrest.
  3. Remove the cover over the hydraulic unit.
  4. Remove the hydraulic unit retaining bolts.
  5. Lift up the hydraulic unit. Check the oil level in the oil reservoir.
    IMPORTANT: Lift up the hydraulic unit carefully so that the hydraulic hoses are not damaged.
  6. Lay out paper under the hydraulic unit to catch any oil spills.
  7. Unplug the connectors.
  8. Mark the hoses and remove the retaining bolts by the hose connections.
  9. Remove the cable tie securing the hoses.

Lift out the hydraulic unit.
