To Remove

  1. Remove the sunroof unit.
  2. Remove the motor.
  3. Remove the glass hatch.
  4. Remove the rain gutter.
  5. Remove the locking ring and fold out the spring.
  6. Remove the retaining bolt from the cover at the rear, one cover strip on each side.

  7. Move the holder for the rain gutter rearwards-downwards and remove them from the rail, one on each side.
    NOTE: Holder with anti-vibration spring.
  8. Press down the catch at the rear of the slide mechanism and pull it rearwards.
  9. Pull out the drive cable to the rear.
  10. Remove the wire from the slide mechanism with a small screwdriver (snap -on fastener).
