Technical description: Messages: MIU

MIU MESSAGE TRANSMITTING

MIU transmits Values Used by The value depends on the following sensor input, signal or function
Vehicle speed km/h, mph DICE, SID, ACC, Audio, TWICE, STC, Trionic T7 (Cars with B205, B235) Wheel speed rear right (wire from ABS, bus from TC/ABS)
Sound Sound information SID Control module activation of central warning lamp or info display lamp
Stop for fuel (cars with engine management system EDC 15/PSG 16) ON/OFF SID When fuel level drops below 3 litres, ON is sent
Fuel consumed since start 0-65535 ml SID Bus from EDC 15, PSG 16 or Trionic T7. The reading is corrected by an adjustment factor in the MIU. The factor can be adjusted with the diagnostic tool.
Fuel level litres SID, ACC, Trionic T7 Tank sensor, control module adjustment
Odometer reading km, miles SID Display value
Identification number - TWICE Value created in MIU when immobilizer code is programmed in TWICE
Diagnostics communication Answer to enquiry from diagnostics instrument DICE/diagnostic tool Control module should be live and the bus leads intact
