Parking Brake Shoes: Installation

- Position the brake shoes, lever and adjusting nut on the shield.
- Using hold-down spring remover, install the hold-down springs to the retaining pin and using brake spring remover, install the upper and lower return springs.
- Install the brake disc. See REAR BRAKE ROTOR .
- Hook the cable onto the lever, install the cable in the cable holder and install the return spring.
- Adjust the parking brake. See PARKING BRAKE SHOES under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Install the wheels. Tighten lug studs to specification.
