Parking Brake Lever: Installation

  1. Install the cable terminal to the parking brake switch.
  2. Install the parking brake lever and tighten the 2 retaining screws.
  3. Install the center console and the driver's front seat. See CENTER CONSOLE  & FRONT SEAT  .
  4. Raise the car and install the rubber boot as well as the pull rod. Install the cable adjuster to the pull rod, and install the adjusting nut to the measured thread length.
  5. Install the cable to the levers.
  6. Install the front locating sleeve to the holder on the right side.
  7. Install the rear locating sleeves.
  8. Install the returns springs for the levers.
  9. Install the heat shield plate.
  10. Lower the car and check the parking brake function.
