Front Brake Caliper: Disassemble

  1. Remove the front brake caliper. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER  .
  2. Remove the brake pads from front caliper.
  3. Clean the front brake caliper.
    WARNING: Protect your eyes from fluid splashes. Mind your fingers when the brake piston is pressed out.
  4. Press out the brake piston by blowing compressed air through the hose connection.
  5. Remove the dust cap and piston seal.
  6. Check for damage due to wear.
