Glove box

The glove box lid is strengthened with a steel plate and serves as protection for the passenger's knees in the event of a collision.

Cars with ACC have a hose connecting the evaporator housing and glove compartment. Furthest in in the glove compartment is a sliding vent that can be opened to cool the compartment. A lamp illuminates the glove compartment when it is open.
