When there is about 10 liters of fuel left, a lamp will come on to indicate low fuel level. The lamp is powered by the main instrument unit and is grounded internally by the main instrument unit to turn it on.

The main instrument unit lights the lamp for 3 seconds when the ignition is switched on.
