To remove

  1. Cut out a flap in the luggage compartment carpeting to gain access to the damper's upper mounting.
  2. Remove the nut, washer and bush from the damper's upper mounting point.
  3. Raise the car and remove the rear wheel.
  4. Remove the retaining bolt in the lower bumper mounting. Lift out the damper.
