Reset of triggered limp-home mechanism

- Remove the upper engine cover.
- Set ignition to ON position.
- Reset the mechanism once the fault has been remedied. Connect the diagnostic tool and clear the DTCs. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tool.
- Carefully push the spring end towards the throttle body using a pen or the like.
- At the same time, rotate the black toothed disc anti-clockwise using a screwdriver. A click can be heard at the stop position.
- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and wait at least 30 sec.
- Rotate the pedal arm with accelerator cable clockwise. Make sure that the throttle arm does not follow along when the pedal arm is rotated for correct reset position.
- Fit the upper engine cover.
