Rattling noise from the rear window when the soft top is raised (closed): Procedure

Raise the fifth bow.
Bend the spring brace downwards or rearwards using pliers in order to reduce the gap between the brace and the fifth bow.

For cars with black outer roof fabric, VIN -27000790 and cars with blue outer roof fabric, VIN -27000853 continue according to the following:
Bend the headlining attachment wire in order to reduce the gap.

If necessary, replace the headlining attachment wire with a new plastic wire, part no. 53 60 672.
