Procedure 3

Cars affected:  - 17006409, thicker tape is fitted after this VIN.

Use felt tape, part no. 49 60 555.

1. Maneuver the soft top so that the soft top cover is open.
2. Thoroughly clean the surface where the felt tape is to be applied. Fasten two pieces of felt tape on the front edge of the soft top cover. If one piece of tape has already been fastened, fasten one more piece only.

3. Check that the noise no longer occurs.
