Noise from side window seals: Procedure

Use lubricant 30 19 312 (sufficient for approx. 10 cars)

  1. Maneuver the soft top with the ROOF button until halfway open and the soft top cover is vertical. Position 82 93 144 HOLDER, HYDRAULIC SOFT TOP so that the soft top will not fall once the hydraulic pressure is released. The rear side windows must be raised and the door windows must be lowered.
  2. Apply lubricant to the sealing strip surfaces as shown in the illustration.
  3. Allow the lubricant to set for approx. one hour. Wipe away any excess lubricant.
