Noise from the upper part of the windscreen: Procedure

The noise can be eliminated after customer complaint by affixing double-sided adhesive tape between the top part of the windscreen trim and the metal roof.

If doing this when changing the windscreen, the tape should not be divided.

  1. Lift the trim from the upper part of the windscreen.
  2. Wash the edge of the metal roof and the contact surface where the trim meets the metal with Teroson cleaner FL or equivalent.
  3. Divide the tape while it is still on the card as illustrated.
  4. Centre the first piece of tape in the middle. Continue to apply two pieces of tape on each side and close to the middle one.
