To fit

  1. Fit the door lock with the internal lock assembly and central locking system motor.
  2. Plug in the connector for the central locking system motor.

  3. Fit the lower section of the rear guide channel.
  4. Press the pull rod onto the lock cylinder.
  5. Press the pull rod onto the interior handle.
  6. Check the door handle clearance against the lock. Adjust if needed, by adjusting up/down the opening rod adjusting screw until it is up against the lock opening lever.
    NOTE: It must be possible to feel the clearance in the door handle, the lock opening lever must not be actuated in the resting position.
  7. Fit the plastic water barrier.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure the water drainage plastic is tight against the inner panel of the door and that it is not damaged.
  8. Fit the door trim, see DOOR TRIM, FRONT DOOR .
