To remove

  1. Remove the door trim. See ADJUSTMENT - REPLACEMENT in INTERIOR EQUIPMENT.
  2. Remove the plastic water barrier.

  3. Remove the external window seal by first releasing the clip at the rear with suitable pliers and pull it out by hand, there is also a clip at the front edge.

  4. Loosen the retainer screw for the rear guide channel.
  5. Run down the window glass approximately 10 cm so that the window mount is visible in the upper holes on the inside of the door.
  6. Fasten the glass on top of the frame with tape, use 2 strips of tape.
  7. Unplug the connector for the window lift motor.
  8. Drill out the blind-rivet heads (5 pcs, 8.5 mm drill bit).
  9. Knock the rivets out of the door (4 mm drift). Hold the window lift.
  10. Guide out the window lift with motor from the window mount by pulling it rearwards in the door, fold it down and lift it out of the door.
    IMPORTANT: The motor and the window lift is a unit, the motor and lift cannot be replaced separately.
