To Remove

  1. Remove the glove box lid. See Glove Box Lid .

  2. Place the lid on a covered workbench.
  3. Drill holes with a 2 mm bit in a circle inside the marked circle on the back of the lid.
    NOTE: The drill must go only just through or else the lock mechanism may be damaged.
  4. Cut carefully away the remaining goods.
  5. Bend out the hooks securing the lock cylinder and press it out.
  6. Remove the lock holder with a screwdriver.
