To remove

  1. Lower the window.
  2. Remove the door trim, see DOOR TRIM, REAR DOORS .
  3. Remove the plastic water barrier.

    Lift out the collision block to increase accessibility.

  4. Remove the pull rod between the door handle and door lock from the door side and leave it suspended.

  5. Remove the trim panel.
    NOTE: First release at the rear edge.
  6. Remove the internal seal molding.
  7. Remove the guide channel retainer screw.
  8. Pull up the seal molding from the guide channel.
  9. Angle the guide channel up out of the window frame.

  10. Raise the window.
  11. Remove the retainer nut with plate from the rear of the door handle.
  12. It may be necessary to remove the lock, 3 bolts.
  13. Guide out the pull rod, between the outside door handle and lock, from the lock.
  14. Angle out the door handle from the door.
