In the ME market, it is a legal requirement for this function to be active. The SID unit generates an acoustic signal whenever vehicle speed exceeds 120 km/h or at 5 second intervals when the speed is continuously above 120 km/h. After adjustment, the SID display flashes to acknowledge the adjustment. |

The SID unit shows the message "TIME FOR SERVICE" on the display when servicing is due. The type of service program is programmed into the SID unit using this command. There are 5 different program types. See MAINTENANCE AND OWNER ASSISTANCE in OWNER'S MANUAL. After adjustment, the SID display flashes to acknowledge the adjustment. |
