Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Installation

- Fit air bag into position, ensuring there are no loose objects between air bag and upper part of instrument panel. Tighten nuts securing air bag to upper part of instrument panel. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Tighten screw holding safety band to steering beam to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
