Removal & Installation: CLOCKSPRING: Installation

- Install clockspring to column. Tighten retaining screws and reconnect clockspring electrical connectors. Reinstall upper and lower steering column covers. Ensure clockspring is in center position. See CLOCKSPRING CENTERING under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Install steering wheel. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install air bag module and activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
