Air Bag Warning Light Operation

Air bag control module continuously monitors air bag system. If fault occurs in system, AIR BAG warning light in instrument cluster will come on. Warning light will remain on until ignition is turned off. If fault is still present when ignition is turned on, warning light will come back on. If air bag control module detects no faults, AIR BAG warning light will come on for 3-4 seconds and go off when ignition key is first turned to ON position.
