SHIFT UP Indicator Light
- Disconnect Main Instrument Unit (MIU) 20-pin connector at rear of instrument cluster. See Figure . Connect test light between 20-pin connector terminal No. 7 (Blue/Yellow wire) and battery positive voltage. Turn ignition on. If test light comes on, replace SHIFT UP bulb. After repair, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Blue/Yellow wire between MIU 20-pin connector terminal No. 7 and Trionic module connector terminal No. 55. Trionic module is located under right side of instrument panel. After repair, go to step 3 .
- Clear DTCs. Perform a functional test of SHIFT UP light. If SHIFT UP light functions, system is okay. If SHIFT UP light does not function, replace MIU ECU. See ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT (ECU) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Clear DTCs. Using scan tool, perform a functional test of Trionic system. If a fault is still present in Trionic system, replace Trionic module. See TRIONIC MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
