Adjusting the speedometer, Night Panel

The SID's Night Panel function turns off the lighting for the upper part of the speedometer scale (above 140 km/h) during normal driving. Should vehicle speed exceed a given figure, the lighting for the lower part of the speedometer scale will be turned on. By means of this command it is possible to change the speed at which the main instrument unit turns on the lighting for the upper part of the speedometer scale when Night Panel is activated. The default speed set at the factory is 134 km/h.

Adjustment can be checked afterwards by activating Night Panel with the diagnostic tool.
