Activate the fuel gauge and check that the gauge reading is correct at all the "breakpoints". Adjust the breakpoints if necessary. For breakpoints set at the works, see ADJUSTING THE FUEL GAUGE .
Clear the diagnostic trouble codes in all systems.
- Perform a functional test.
  Test OK?
  1. YES : The steps taken to rectify the fault were correct.
  2. NO : Go to BEFORE CHANGING A CONTROL MODULE
