Removal & Installation (900 Series)

  1. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect fuel lines at fuel pressure regulator and fuel injection manifold. Drain coolant. Disconnect coolant hose at thermostat housing. Remove fuel pressure regulator. Remove ground connections for fuel injection ECU.
  2. Remove auxiliary air valve (if equipped). Unbolt A/C bracket from cylinder head. Remove intake manifold, fuel injectors, and fuel rail as an assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
